Since 2019, we’ve rescued over 500 dogs and cats, giving them care, love, and a second chance to have a dignified life. We follow a strict no-kill philosophy. We do not believe in euthanasia, because every life matters.
Today, over 100 animals depend on us. In Brazil local support is scarce as many families can’t even afford food for themselves. That is why we ask for help from abroad, because without it, this mission cannot continue.

Ricardo Barbosa, an employee at LUSA, was deeply moved by Jessica’s mission to rescue abandoned animals in Brazil.
Touched by her strength and by the suffering of so many innocent lives, he gathered the LUSA team to help in the best way possible by creating this website and the app, entirely free of charge.
